Blog Love: Our fave fashion influencers

If you’re feeling stuck in a bit of a style rut, may we suggest you take a scroll through our favorite fashion IG and blog babes. Not only is a great way to find new brands that have been off-your-radar, but it’s also a triple espresso shot of inspiration when it comes to new ways of wearing this seasons trends.  These fearless female influencers are revolutionizing the world of fashion with their flawless snaps and on-point styling. Check out our selects below.

1. Alicia Lund, Cheetah is the New Black
@aliciamlund / cheetahisthenewblack.com
Alicia Lund describes her blog Cheetah is the New Black as “the cool yet approachable girlfriend you turn to for style advice” -- and we totally agree. This Northern California It girl (and mama to adorable baby Rex) has created a signature look that’s a cool mix of classic, yet edgy with bohemian elements (which also sums up our fall collection). Blogging since 2009 (when cheetah and leopard prints reigned supreme, hence the name), her modern approach to dressing is both on-trend and refreshingly timeless.

2. Brittany Xavier, Thrifts and Threads @thriftsandthreads / youtube.com/thriftsandthreads / thriftsandthreads.com
Brittany Xavier from Thrifts and Threads describes her style as “versatile, casual, comfortable and a bit edgy.” Like us, she lives in Southern California and has a serious soft spot for denim. She prefers “affordable fashion with occasional splurges” -- and her Instagram snaps show how chic and easy everyday style can be. PS: She also does swoon-worthy travel stories.

3. Naz Ramezani, The LA Native
@thelanative / thelanative.com
Yes, Naz Ramezani is a Los Angeles native… and she knows her way around the City of Angels and uses it as a constant source of style and color inspo in her dreamy IG feed. From sun-drenched Venice beach to museum day trips and coffee jaunts, this woman has mastered the art of styling denim cut-offs with everything from vintage tees to femme button ups, and the gorgeous shots of palm trees and  beaches will have you California dreaming.

alwaysjudging

4. Courtney Trop, Always Judging
@alwaysjudging / alwaysjudging.com
We’re such fans of Courtney Trop and her style that we did a collab with this West Coast transplant couple of years back and that capsule collection of effortless separates still fills our closets to this day. Trop created her blog, Always Judging, in an effort to express her personal style, as well as share her tips on the newest in music, beauty and general coolness in the world. Each post is a snapshot into her adventures wining, dining and styling—always looking completely on-point.

songofstyle

5. Aimee Song, Song of Style
@songofstyle / songofstyle.com
Aimee Song is a social media powerhouse—she’s got a whopping 4.6 million IG followers and was on Forbes magazine’s list of 30 under 30. That said, we love her cool mix of high- and low-end designs and her blog, Song of Style, is the perfect eye candy to peruse if your style is on the girlier side (this woman can rock a dress like no other). She also  collaborated with major retailers like Bloomingdale’s, has her own made-in-LA clothing and just published a book, Capture Your Style. Clearly she doesn’t need much sleep.

6. Madelynn Furlong, Wide Eyed Legless
@wideeyedlegless / wideeyedlegless.com
Based in Minneapolis, MN, Madelynn Furlong launched her blog Wide Eyed Legless to share her self-described “pared-down approach to design and style.” Her aesthetic focuses on clean lines and simple statements that are a refreshing, minimalist mix of traditional pieces, neutral hues, and our personal fave style statement of tons of not-so-basic black and white.
