    Beautiful, lightweight skirt for warmer weather

    This skirt is so pretty and has pockets which I love! It's a maxi without being too long. Online, the color looks orange, but it is actually a beautiful tomato red color which would be suitable in spring, summer, or the very earliest part of fall when the weather is still warm. For reference, I am 5'11", have a 31" waist, and weigh 135 lbs. The small fits perfectly. I wish Velvet would also create this skirt in black and navy. A definite winner!

    Non adjustable waist and not much room to get over your hips.

    I agree with one of the other reviews. The waistband is smaller and there is no drawstring. I ordered up a size and it is a little loose in the waist but it’s roomy enough to get over my hips. If you are hourglass shaped, it’s best to size up and maybe take the waist in a little. It looks lovely when the light hits it.

    Beautiful skirt, small waitband!

    This is a beautiful skirt. I ordered the M (I have many other Velvet skirts that are M) and I could not get it over my hips. (For reference, I’m not tiny, but my hips aren’t large by proportion.) Once I put the skirt on over my head, it fit and hung beautifully. I am going to exchange for an L and hope there isn’t too much fabric around the waist.

    Beautiful Mariela Skirt

    This skirt is lightweight and flowy. This is my 3rd skirt of this kind. I have navy and black and now green. The fit is accurate and the pockets make it perfect. This skirt is well made with high quality material and is lined. The green color is beautiful, just as pictured. Love this skirt!
