Wow, I have been on the sweater search all season and finally found THE ONE. This sweater lands at the hips, not the waist (which is the current "young person" trend). For those of us over 40 who still want our sweaters to hide our stomachs, this is the BEST of the bunch. It's not too baggy at the chest area, so it's not an oversized sweater. Just one that lands perfectly and is so rich looking and flattering. The cost is steep, but I got it on sale and probably would have paid full price. This sweater is better than others I have tried at Jenni Kayne and Goop, which are higher end brands. It's on par with one I loved from Rag and Bone. So....affordable in comparison, I guess. I am normally a L in Velvet sweaters (M for Leigh shirt) but liked the fit of the XL

This is a wonderful sweater. I am 5'10" and this sweater is a great length for me as I have a hard time finding sweaters that are long enough. I wear a size large in Velvet tee shirts and I ordered a large in this and it is perfect. The sleeves are nicely longish and this is just perfectly a bit oversized. This is the second amazing sweater I have purchased from Velvet this year. Nice!!
